IMPACT Teams
Here's a list of the various areas where you can make an IMPACT at King Spring! Some of these volunteer positions are self-explanatory as far as the responsibilities, but others need to be explained. So, click on the links and see what the responsibilities are for these specific positions of service.

Children & Youth Ministries
AWANA
AWANA is designed to partner with parents in the discipling of children ages 2 years old through 5th grade. The focus is on memorizing Scripture, but fun games and a Bible lesson are also incorporated each week! There are a variety of opportunities to help in this ministry and most positions don't require preparation ahead of time. In fact, everything you need to know will be shared with you at a training session. If you have a heart for children and are available on Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM until 8:15 PM then you will want to serve in this ministry.

LOVE Kidstyle
Preschool LOVE Kidstyle is our opportunity to minister to preschool children while their parents are involved in one of the worship services. The children are broken down into age appropriate groups, so many volunteers are needed each week to help meet this ministry need. You can be involved by signing up to serve as a volunteer on a rotating basis.

Children's LOVE Kidstyle is our opportunity to minister to children ages Kindergarten through 2nd Grade while their parents are involved in one of the worship services. This ministry is designed to help children begin to learn what it means to worship God, in a kid-friendly style and environment! You can be involved by signing up to assist the Children's LOVE Kidstyle Director on a rotating basis.

Souled Out Youth
Souled Out is our opportunity to minister to adolescents in the 6th through the 12th grade. Over the course of the year, this group participates in Bible studies, mission projects, socials/fellowships, and summer camp. The directors of this group are always looking for more individuals to join with them teaching and ministering to this great group of youth!

Wonderfully Made Ministry
Wonderfully Made Ministry is a newly developed ministry aimed at serving expectant mothers and their families. You can be involved by signing up to help organize baby showers and/or to participate in the providing of meals for families with newborns.

Miscellaneous Ministries
Bereavement Ministry
Following the funeral/memorial service of a church member, a meal is provided as a part of our ministry to the family. This therapeutic time provides an opportunity for individuals to reflect on memories with one another and seek encouragement through conversation with family and friends. You can be involved by signing up to help provide food for the meal and/or helping serve the meal.

First Impressions Ministry
You never get a second chance to make a first impression! And that's why this ministry is so vital to the life of our church. A smiling face, a friendly conversation, and a willingness to walk visitors to places within the church will go a long way to ensuring that our visitors feel welcome. You can be involved by signing up to serve as a volunteer on a rotating basis.

Facilities/Custodial Ministry
Being a good steward of our property is vitally important. Whether it's helping clean the facility weekly or working on various projects to make cosmetic improvements, we need your help! When you sign up to serve as a volunteer in this area, please be sure to communicate the areas in which you are equipped to be utilized.

Kitchen Ministry
One of the greatest opportunities to build fellowship comes when we gather around the table to share a meal with one another. That's why we provide Wednesday Night Suppers and other Fellowship Meals at various times during the year. However, a lot of work goes into preparing for a meal before you can sit down to eat. So, if you're interested in cooking, serving food, or set-up/clean-up on a rotating basis, then sign up to volunteer in this ministry area.

Multimedia Ministry
Our worship services utilize various components of multimedia (lighting, video, and audio) each week to enhance the worship experience. You don't have to be an expert in these areas, so don't let that hinder you. You'll be trained and equipped with all the knowledge you need to effectively serve in this ministry, even if you have no experience! If you enjoy working with technology, then you'll definitely want to volunteer to serve in this fun ministry on a rotating basis.

Nursing Home/Assisted-Living Ministry
Each Sunday evening at 6:30 PM there is an opportunity to minister to individuals who reside in two separate local Nursing Home/Assisted-Living facilities. You can participate in this ministry by leading in a brief devotional or congregational singing, playing an instrument, or simply visiting with the residents.

Transportation Ministry
As the church continues to grow this ministry area must grow with it because a limited number of drivers means limited availability to drive. More drivers are needed to help ensure that we can continue to pick up children to bring them to our church for AWANA on Wednesday night. More drivers are needed to ensure that we can provide transportation for youth excursions. And more drivers are needed to ensure that we can continue to take our Seniors to various locations as necessary. In order to serve in this area you will need to complete an online driving certification program for our insurance company.
LIFE Groups
You see him every Sunday, but you just can't remember his name. James? Stan? It's difficult to put a face with the correct name, but a LIFE Group turns a large world into a small community. By sharing that atmosphere during our walk with God, we help each other get stronger as we go along our spiritual journey. LIFE Groups meet @ 9:30 AM each Sunday and we'd love to see you get involved in one this week!
